Instructions are very limited, but unit is easy to install with some experimenting where to plug in camera. Unit has very clear picture. Replaced the backup camera on our RV. Camera had stopped working and was less expensive to replace complete system.

The original back up camera in our camper died within a year of purchase.It was used 2 weeks and the next time we went to use it, nothing.. Thankfully we had an extended warranty and got our money back but the store no longer sold them. Trying to buy a replacement has become something of a trial. We bought one from Amazon that due to health problems, we did not open until past the warranty date. It didn't work right out of the box so after a lot of trouble we sent it back to the manufacturer with a $10 money order.. We still have not heard back, delivery confirmation shows it was received by the company.. and so we assume that camera set and money are lost... Since we are planning a vacation we ordered this back up camera from Amazon. It had great reviews and was fairly reasonable cost wise. It installed well enough and worked for all of 30 mins. Then the screen went black and lines appeared. We turned it off, it came up for one minute and went back to black. Never did come back. We went online for advice and my husband tried an alternate suggest rewire but it didn't work. Finally he called the company and they said they would send us another one, as long as we gave them our credit card number to put a hold for the amount. My husband was to change components one at a time to determine what wasn't working. It showed up yesterday and was installed. It appears the camera was bad. So far so good. It is still working as it sits in the driveway. We haven't been able to test it on the road yet.So it might turn out to be a good camera but we really won't know until it gets a real test of a road trip. Till then we have to return the other camera and hope the company stops the hold or returns the money they took on the credit card. If this camera set doesn't work we aren't sure what to do from here except to get our money back.

Bought this camera to put on a 31' Class C motorhome. Since installing have only been out in the motorhome once, but it seems to work great. The monitor is fairly large, which is nice for viewing but kind of big for the dashboard. The audio works great, however it picks up road noise while traveling so I have to turn the sound down when not backing up. The installation instructions were very poor, but it turns out that it is not that hard to install. It took probably a total of 5 hours to install on the motorhome. That included drilling a hole for the cable on the back of our motorhome, running the cable under the under carriage and connecting to the power sources. Camera is a super buy costing much less than many other camera's out there and is very heavy duty. It looks like it came on the motorhome. BTW, the dealers wanted approx. $700 for a camera and $100/hr to install, estimating the install at 5-7 hours. I saved a bunch and am very pleased!

This is, by far, the best backup camera system I have seen. I just wish it was made for my truck. I drive a 2004 Nissan Titan and the install was everything but easy. Just not made for small trucks. That said, I could not be more pleased with quality of this system. The RVS-770613 has worked great every condition I have used it in. I would recomend this product to anyone looking for a backup camera system.

Replaced the OEM black & white defective camera system in my Holiday Rambler motorhome with this color unit. It was easy to install (it would have been easier if I could have used the OEM cable but wrong style connectors) with the camera, cabling and monitor. It works great with a good picture. I leave it on at all times when driving and did not hook up the reverse only turn-on function...
