"2004 Nissan Murano audio for iphone connection" 2010-09-30
By Christopher A. Edwards (Lafayette, LA USA)
I used this to connect my IPhone to my 2004 Nissan Murano. Easy to connect and worked just like it's supposed to work. Be careful when taking apart your console and get internet directions for taking it apart correctly or you might break soemthing. I forgot to place a towel on my console to put between the radio that came out of the dash and the console and, sure enough, got the console plastic all scratched up from doing this. Also, use an electric line filter to clear up static from the engine to the 12-volt connection. I didn't and now have a slight whine at high volume. You still need an RCA to IPnone adapter to connect the IPhone to this unit as it just has RCA out jacks.

 "died for no reason" 2010-08-19
By J. Saenz (MS, USA)
unacceptable for something of this price to last me a year and a half and just quit, and now stuck with proprietary crummy head unit with no acceptable way to AUX in for my nissan. when it worked it was ok but had engine whine. had tried many fm transmitters which were all terrible. so what, trading the car in anyway, and that will solve my aux in problem. maybe if this thing had been thirty bucks or so like a wired fm transmitter it would be ok, but not for one hundred.

"Works great, but has a little whine" 2010-07-08
By jonisanickname
So the sound quality of this compared to the cassette adapter I was using before (and the FM transmitter before that) is excellent. However I do have a little bit of a whine when I have the volume turned up above "20" on my G35. I also get a little bit of distortion with louder musci, but I would attribute that to the fact that I have to use the headphone out jack on my iPod as the controller I am using (Harmon Kardon Drive+Play) has horrible audio quality. I think I need to find a way to split the iPod dock connector so that control goes to the HK and audio goes to the PAC.

Installation was straightforward - it took more time getting panels off and taking the stereo out than wiring up the PAC. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to keep the factory head-unit but get decent sound from and iPod.

 "Worked like a charm!" 2010-03-09
By Peter Pham (Los Angeles, CA)
Success! I installed this in my 2005 Nissan Altima SE-R with Bose 6 CD Changer (no satellite service). Installation was relatively easy. I used an online guide on how to remove my stereo head unit and used the instructions that came with the auxiliary input for the rest of the installation. So far, everything works like a charm. I can't change songs with steering wheel controls but I can control the volume. Long story short, my car can now play music from my iPod or iPhone and it only costed about $80!

 "Can't say enough good!" 2010-01-31

Was a skeptic before buying this - thinking it was going to be a pain to install on my wife's '05 Altima....but let me tell you, it couldn't have been easier. And let me tell ya, the sound quality is great - the wife LOVES being able to just plug her ipod in without the hassle of those POS FM transmitters that sound terrible.

I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone if you want to make your car have an aux. input for and ipod/iphone/any mp3 player - its great!!!!
