 "Need questions?" 2010-07-26
By Gabriel D. Sanchez
I bought this amp and two 10" Kenwood speakers each 1000 watts. It's not as loud or rocks as hard as it should. If I only hook up 1 speaker would it deliver the max power. That's what I want, so let me know.

"Kenwood KAC-7204 1000-Watt Max Power Stereo Bridgeable Amplifier" 2010-07-17
By Ariel Nunez (Nowhere, USA)
This amp is awesome. It does exactly what i bought it for, to add low end in my car. I have it pushing two MTX Thunder 6000 12" subs in a sealed enclosure at 2 ohm's per channel inside my trunk and the sound inside the car is amazing. If you had your set-up inside your car as with a SUV or a hatchback, it would definately hit a lot harder and be a lot louder. It's not too overpowering at higher volumes and you can feel it. This thing isn't going to blow your windows out or win you any SPL competitions but for the price offered here and with the right subs, this amp is an incredible value. One thing i should mention is when i tried using the LPF on the amp, i wasn't getting a lot of volume, but once i turned the filter off it started going full out, I'm not too entirely sure what the deal with that is, but, all that matters is that it works. It came nicely packaged and very fast. Overall very satisfied.

"Amp driving wake board speakers" 2010-07-07
By Rod
I just mounted this amp in my boat and it is driving 2 Boozka MT6502CHW 6.5-Inch Ma Tubbie Compression Horn speakers. The amp is setup for 2 channel 170W output and is working great. I used the RCA connectors to drive the amp and the remote wire with a switch in line to turn the amp on and off so that I do not run the battery down when the extra sound is not needed.

So far the amp is working great and the speakers seem to be a good combination.

 "eats fuses for lunch" 2010-05-15
By dominick
The biggest problem is this thing overheats real fast and it blows its 40amp fuse every time you try to use it for what its supposed to do: hit hard. But every time you try to play music at a good volume it just blows the fuse every single time! I tried to bring down the wiring kit fuse to a 40 amp fuse so it matches the amps fuse and it still keeps blowing...I had a professional wire everything and I have a 15" kicker L5 with 4 gauge wire with the amp bridged...lost faith in kenwood products and I wouldn't recommend this to ANYONE!...

 "hot amp" 2010-04-27
By W. DALZIEL (canada)
i bought 2 of these amps and they seem to have good power although they run hot like 180 degrees as compared to my alpine doing the same job runs about 70 degrees they will cutout if ran continues but for the money they are great just dont run them flat out and everything will be great
