I have a Pioneer Amplifier that I bought in 1971 and it's still works very well.

This unit never did and I can't see Pioneer fixing it.

Maybe I'm just an old fart now but, boy do I miss analog controls.

The people who designed this must never drive anything but a rickshaw!

It's the most brain numbingly stupid device ever.

It's so slow to boot , that you will be at your destination before this thing wakes up.

The touch screen is awful, hard to press, poorly laid out, for some reason , they only use tiny portions of the screen for virtual buttons and cram them together as long rectangles, not round, fingertip size buttons.... long, skinny rectangles????

The voice command is useless,

The screen is invisible in sunlight

Don't get me started on the XM Radio 120 buck add on; it will have you in the ditch trying to find your next station.

The crappy dashmount interface in my old car is far easier to use and stores your favourite songs, recalls based on artist too, this one does neither and is horrible to use.

The Nav screen is pith poor and doesn't display street names most of the time. The name of the next road is blank 99 percent of the time.

When you finally get so annoyed with the erroneous nav commands that you can't stand it anymore, you are obliged to:

1)pull over

2)set the parking brake,

3)Make nine touchscreen selections, in three sub menus in the proper order with enough force to break a knuckle just to turn that voice down

The phone drops your phonebook and needs resyncing on every use.

My 200 buck Garmin GPS or my 100 buck TOMTOM are waaay better devices at nav.

My twenty year old Toyota had better radio controls , can you spell analog!

This GPS sends you offroading which maybe fun for some but not in Downtown Atlanta

This POS is so frustrating to use that it makes me twitch like Inspector Clouseau.

If you are in the market for an in dash GPS radio,Look elsewhere, and Pioneer, find the engineers from 1970 and rehire them

THE Pioneer CD-IU230V Ipod Audio/Video Direct Cable For Avic-F900Bt & Avic-F700Bt IN ORDER FOR YOU TO VIEW THE IPOD MUSIC AND ALBUMS ON THE NAVIGATION SCREEN AND TO WATCH MOVIES FROM THE IPOD TOO....I ALSO HAVE SIRUIS AND WAS INFORMED THAT IT WAS SIRUIS SATELLITE READY SO I FIGURED ALL I HAD TO DO WAS BUY THE Pioneer CD-SB10 - Sirius Bus Interface for use with Pioneer SAT Radio Ready Headunits and AV Receivers BUT THAT WASNT THE CASE I STILL NEEDED TO BUY THE SIRIUS SCC1 Connect Universal Tuner IN ORDER FOR IT TO WORK WITH THE SATELLITE...... LOT OF OTHER THINGS TO BUY SO IF YOU THINK THIS IS A STEAL IN THE PRICE WELL ADD ABOUT A 150 MORE DOLLARS TO IT......OTHER THEN THAT IT WORKS GREAT LOVE THE BLUETOOTH AND SIMPLICITY OF IT I EVEN PUT MY OWN PERSONAL PICTURE ON MY START UP SCREEN SO I DONT HAVE TO SEE THE BORING BLUE SWIRL I CAN SEE MY DAUGHTER EVERY TIME I TURN MY CAR ON AND WAITING FOR IT TO LOAD

I love this product and recommend to any one. But only the disadvantage is maps are not to upto date. Mine is a 11years old car it definitely gave a whole new look to the car. Bluetooth works perfectly fine.

I Installed at Bestbuy and they did a good job.

 "SD Card Issues" 2010-06-08
By K. Madden
Nice unit with good graphics. Chokes when Map is moving and playing MP3 files from an SD card. Has too little memory to do both at the same time. Defaults to the Map and music suffers. Works well with home-made Mp3 CD-ROMs. Annoying disclaimer buttons must be touched at every start.
