These 626.9i replaced the stock door speakers on my 96 Civic. FYI, you have to do a little cutting on door panel to get them in (not visible). Also replaced my stock rear speakers with Infinity 692.9i and the head unit is a Jensen VM8013HD DVD Receiver (head unit NOT recommended as the CD player no longer works). Not running external amps in my system and I used the stock wiring harness & took 2.5 hours to install all 4 speakers, just FYI.
The sound difference in FANTASTIC! I am really VERY HAPPY with the much deeper-tighter bass and ultra clear highs. The system is loud enough for my neighbors to hear it and ask me to help them upgrade their systems.

i put these speakers in my 06 GMC 1500 extended cab to replace the blown stock speakers. i am using the stock head unit for now and i am very happy with the sound i am getting.

i just wrote a review for my other set of infinity 609cs 6-1/2" speakers, and both sets sound amazing. i particularly like how clear both sets sound at all volume levels, and how they both have crisp highs. both sets have a bit more bass than i expected, and i am very satisfied with them. they arrived a couple of days after i ordered them, and i have been enjoying them ever since. thank you amazon!!

Absolute horrid crap. That's all there is to it. These have been played at fifty perfect of my Amps power (Alpine PDX-5) which should be more than low enough. These are a joke. I blew the first set of tweets in under a month, and yeah, just save yourselves time AND NEVER EVER BUY AN INFINITY PRODUCT! Ever! Go buy an alpine, Kenwood, Something, anything else but this crap!
