I installed the PYLE10 on Sunday and I think it works fantastic. the image is extremely clear so regarding the review(s) that had a different experience, perhaps it was not installed correctly. I ended up tapping into the reverse lights and ground wires from my tow wire assembly of my Nissan Xterra. The got this camera specifically for when backing up to my boat trailer. I mocked up a hitch in my drive way and was deadon the first try. the only thing I will say, which I don't believe is camera specific is that it is very difficult to determine distance. I think that is based off camera location though. Last night I was backing into my driveway and I wanted to see how close I could get to my wifes car, it looked like I was going to hit it when i was still a few feet away. I think that if I positioned the camera higher (like up on my tailgate), the viewing angle would have given a better idea on distance.

This is a great camera for $30. No it does not have the clarity of a $400-500 dollar camera, but what do you expect. It mounted quickly and easily on the license plate, and provides more than adequate picture for the little time you use it. My only complaint was the the video cord was too short to reach my cab, so I simply added another length of cable. Works great, especially for hooking up to a trailer. Cudo's to Pyle for providing a simple, low cost camera option!!!

This camera has decent picture quality. After two weeks use this item is worthless, and the lens and ir leds are covered with condensation. The case that it is in is NOT AT ALL watertight.

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R7MG0D4Q84XWU This camera functions, meaning it transmits an image from the lens to your monitor, however, the image quality is disgusting, it's some sort of weird black and white negative image. I would not recommend this product.
But if you do decide to buy: it comes with a single RCA/composite yellow wire about 12ft long. Also comes with a power wire which is about 3feet long. The RCA and power wires plug into female connectors making it easy to connect and disconnect. There is no easy way to disconnect the connectors (if that makes sense) so if you have to drill a hole to enter your trunk it will be a lot larger than the wire actually needs to be.
Also this thing is pretty big and noticeable making it not very attractive. I installed a similar wireless backup cam in my pops truck and that camera was about half the size of this thing.
I will be personally saving my money and purchasing a better camera in the future, but since this is installed I plan on using it for now.
